Clicking on those broken links gets you awkward results. But, how about we tell you about some Error-404 pages that are actually pretty cool. Ssssshhh. Don’t tell anyone but you can have a lot of fun browsing these even at work.

Who wants to stay on an error page? Well everybody especially when it hosts your favorite Pacman game. Blue Fountain media came up with the innovative concept of placing a game within their page. Here’s the fun fact: Nobody will block this page.

Many office block internet connectivity to gaming and porn sites. However, who would suspect a 404 page? You can thank us now.

2. Google Chrome- T-rex Runner

Probably the whole world knows about what happens when the internet is broken and you’ve got nothing to do. You will find this little dino while trying to search something on Google. Simply, hit the space bar and you’re in the game. Cactus, birds, day, and night. Find out what else is there in this yet another brilliantly designed Google page. The game is called ‘T-Rex Runner’.

Though this is not exactly a 404 page, it is so much fun because you can play it even when the internet is not working. One of the guys in our office actually made a score of 24,000 during internet blackout days. Is it even possible? We know he has cheated. Let us know if you know any hacks on that.

3. Left Logic- Draw Stuff

Is gaming or funny pictures with messages only ways to make a 404 page cool? Well it seems like someone has thought really hard on this one and came up with some interesting ideas.

How about drawing some cool stuff when you’re bored? Left Logic’s 404 page says that if it wasn’t important you can use their square space to create awesome things. To the right are some of the most inspiring use of that square. We’re sure you will also find you name soon enough there. Keep drawing with mouse drag on that interesting 404 error page.

Why do 404 pages happen? Magnt doesn’t shy away from splitting the responsibility. They, in fact, use a graphical model to tell you why it isn’t always the site’s fault. Visit the page for some inspiration on how you can spice up simplest of things too.
